Storyline

Link wakes up in the Great Sky Islands. After finding his broken master sword he progresses to find a construct (a robot) that gives him Zelda’s Purah Pad. Link meets Rauru, a Zonai from when Hyrule was founded, now he is a ghost. Although the arm that caught
Link is now his, it is Rauru’s former arm. Rauru tells Link the only way to get in the Temple of Time is to get enough light in the arm, by completing shrines. Link gets the light and goes into the Temple of Time to place the master sword on a pedestal. That
gets sent back in time.
Then, Link jumps off the sky islands and into a pond, where he finds a village, Lookout Landing. At this village he meets with a friend from the last game, Purah who is a scientist. After talking to her, she sends Link on a quest to help the Rito (Bird like people), Gerudo
(Warrior women), Gorons (Rock made creatures), and Zora (Fish people) as they are in trouble. (He could choose any way, but I’ll just choose a random path).
Link goes to help the Rito first. However, in Hebra where the Rito are, there is an ongoing snowstorm. So, when Link makes it into Rito village he meets a friend, Teba. Although Teba isn’t willing to go on a mission to stop the storm his son Tulin is. Link and Tulin make
their way up into the storm with a voice calling them every once and a while. After fighting many monsters they go into the eye of the storm where there is a giant floating ship. This is the Wind Temple/Stormwind Ark. It is from an ancient lullaby. Inside the Wind Temple
Link and Tulin see Zelda. However, she vanishes into nothing. After completing puzzles around the ship, a monster named Colgera flies out. In a sky battle, Tulin and Link take down the creature and receive a secret stone. Tulin takes the secret stone which amplifies his
wind power. He is also able to create an avatar of himself to help Link. Then they meet the previous beholder of the stone, the sage of wind. Then the snow storm is cleared.
Next, Link goes to help the Zora which has all their waters filled with sludge pouring out of the sky. Link meets with Sidon the prince of Zora’s Domain and agrees to help each other get rid of this sludge. After solving some puzzles a location is marked in the water
where Sidon creates a whirlpool. This whirlpool sucks Link and Sidon into a place to raise water. Once enough gate ways are open that are blocking water, a waterfall falls from the sky islands. Using Sidon to swim up the waterfalls we get to the sky islands where in this
place there is antigravity. After getting past enemies Link and Sidon enter the Water Temple and after a series of puzzles a bad guy jumps out of a giant glop of sludge. The monster is called the Mucktorok in which it creates sludge. After beating the Mucktorok Sidon
receives a secret stone to create an avatar. And meets the previous holder of it, the sage of water. After this, Sidon is crowned king of Zora’s domain and the sludge is cleared.
Next, Link goes to help the Gorons. However, almost everyone is hypnotized by a certain type of rock. Even the leader Yunobo is under control. After confronting Yunobo in a cave he closes it off to attack Link. Link beats Yunobo and breaks his mask which was mind
controlling him. After that he told Link that he had seen Zelda at Death Mountain (a giant volcano). So they head up the mountain to find it turning into a giant multiheaded monster stemming out of the mountain. Using a Zonai device and Yunobo’s rolling fire power. They
beat the beast and travel into the volcano. In which they enter the depths, a direct reflection of the surface world just inverted.Here they find the Fire Temple also known as the legend, the Lost City of Goronia. They enter the temple to see Zelda walk into an arena room
then get crushed by rocks in the ceiling. So, they rush to solve the puzzles and get into the arena. Where the rocks form an enemy Marbled Gohma. After beating Marbled Gohma Yunobo receives his secret stone. In which he meets the sage of fire and is able to create an
avatar to help Link. And all the rocks that mind controlled people evaporated.
Finally, Link went to the Gerudo desert to find the town completely empty and shrouded in sandstorms. Also finding mummified creatures called gibdos. Under the town is a hideout with all the Gerudos. Link finds Riju the queen of Gerudo town. With her help and the other
Gerudos they fight off gibdo attacks. Then when Link aligns three tower’s light into a triangle it brings up a thing to use Riju’s lightning to strike it. This brings up the Lightning Temple. And after completing the tasks inside they fight the Queen Gibdo. After beating
her, Riju gets her secret stone and meets the sage of lightning.
Then, Link meets back up with Purah at Lookout Landing to tell her everything. Then the moon turned blood red and so did the sky. Then through the telescope Link saw Zelda in Hyrule Castle which was floating from the gloom holding it up. Yunobo, Tulin, Sidon, and Riju
showed up. All but Purah went to the castle to find a bunch of enemies. Then as they entered the throne room they found Zelda. Who turned into a version of the mummified monster at the beginning, Phantom Ganon. After the heroes fought the many Phantom Ganons they lectured
the good guys. Once that was over they realized there was one more sage.
In Faron there were many statues of dragons that lightning struck clearing the sky island above. Once up there Link found a construct head and a voice telling him to bring it down. Link took a Zonai flying device into a chasm and entered the depths. The voice was of a
person named Mineru. She called him to assemble a giant construct with parts spread across the area. Once assembled the construct was brought to life with Mineru’s spirit. That is when Mineru told Link everything.
When Zelda fell she was teleported back into the first days of Hyrule with the Zonai. She was taken in by Rauru the king of Hyrule and Sonia the queen. Zelda is a descendant of Rauru and Sonia as she has Rauru’s light powers and Sonia’s time powers. However, there is an
enemy of Hyrule, the king of Gerudo Ganondorf. Ganondorf pledged his alliance to Rauru, but he isn’t trustworthy. As he eyes a secret stone. One night he made a shadow that posed as Zelda and tried to deceive Sonia. Even though they caught the impersonator, Ganondorf snuck
up behind Sonia and stabbed her, taking her secret stone. Sonia fell, dead as Ganondorf laughed and held the stone. Rauru and Zelda came in to save Sonia. Although, it was too late and now that Ganondorf had the stone he had become the Demon King. He attacked Zelda and
Rauru who teleported away. With Ganondorf at the height of his power, Rauru assembled the sages including Mineru the sage of spirit. With a final attempt to take down the Demon King all the sages fight him. Alas, he is too strong even for all of them, So, Rauru sacrifices
himself by imprisoning Ganondorf with his arm. Now that Rauru was dead and Ganondorf was stopped Zelda still needed to figure out how to get back to her time. That is when she sees a broken master sword appear on a pedestal in front of her. She realizes for the master
sword to heal it needs to be bathed in powerful energy. So, Zelda remembers what Mineru had said before, if you are to eat a secret stone you become an immortal dragon. But, you lose all your memories and thoughts. A dragon is made of pure power. So, Zelda eats the stone
and holds the sword close, and becomes a dragon. To be able to heal the sword over time.
Now that the story was over Mineru needed to get her secret stone at the Spirit temple. After fighting monsters on the way there. The stone was right in sight. Just then an arena went up and a giant construct jumped down, made of gloom and malice. The Seized Construct.
Using Mineru’s giant robot body the Seized Construct was beaten. And the secret stone was gathered.
Link was sent by the Great Deku tree in Hyrule forest to obtain the master sword which had come back. He was able to get onto the Light dragon where the sword resided and as he pulled it out it was fully restored.
Now it was time for the end game, Link went into the depths and through a dungeon. Until he got to the part at the beginning where he and Zelda fell. Link dove down into the chasm below. Where an entire army of monsters came out. Link fought them off. However, the five
main bosses came back, but Yunobo, Tulin, Riju, and Sidon held them off long enough for Link to get into the final boss arena alone. Ganondorf, still in his mummified state, stood up to talk to Link and jumped off his throne. In an instant he brought his skin back to
how it was thousands of years ago. Then pulled out his sword to fight Link. Then when he felt challenged he used the secret stone and became the Demon King again. Then the sages came in to help Link fight. Unlike last time Ganondorf could not win, so in a last attempt
Ganondorf ate his secret stone and became a dragon. Then when Link was thrown upwards the Light Dragon (Zelda) caught him. With the help of her Link destroyed all the weak spots on the Demon Dragon. Then in the end, Link jumped on the head and broke the secret stone
exploding the dragon.
In the end Rauru and Sonia used their powers from beyond the grave to bring Zelda back to normal from her dragon state. And Link and Zelda fell through the sky. Zelda passed out, but Link awakened, instead of missing her hand like under the castle he grasped it ending the game.
